Kansas Road

I travel a lot.

I just spent quite some time trying to sum up my life and that’s what finally popped in to my head. If you’re interested in more details, please keep reading. 🙂

I’m 28 years old, married to a wonderfully understanding wife with three wonderful kids, as seen below, and three somewhat bothersome cats. You won’t see the three cats posed in a tree for a picture, as I don’t really care enough about them to take on the (what would most likely be) incredibly frustrating and painful task of rounding up the three of them and posing them hanging from tree limbs.

Professionally, I’m a road warrior IT consultant traveling forty weeks a year on average. I specialize in Active Directory & Exchange migrations and consolidations utilizing tools from Quest Software. How’s that for a niche?

Currently I reside in Fredericksburg, VA which used to be a sleepy little town but is rapidly turning into a bustling metropolis. Since we’re going to end up in a bustling metropolis my wife and I decided to move back to Seattle, WA this summer, where I was born and raised. We also met there, got married there and had our son there (in that order). Specifically we’re moving about six weeks from the time I write this, so the logistics of moving a family of five, all our accompanying crap and three cats 2,842 miles cross country may become the core of this blog over the coming weeks but you never know. 🙂

I may put more on this later, but that’s good enough for now I believe.
